It is the fifteenth century, and three kingdoms are caught up in the dire conflicts of their time. As the possibility of a peaceful resolution provides hope that a decade-long war will finally end, no one realizes that dark forces are waiting to invoke chaos as a full moon rises.
On a farm nestled beneath the Euralene Mountains along the western border of Medinia, young Willie works for the Smythes as a serf. One moonlit evening when the Smythes are gone to a neighbouring village, Willie hears the terrified cries of animals in the pastures. When he goes to investigate, he discovers that this wolf pack attack is like no other. Badly injured during the raid, he survives—but now he is afflicted by the full-moon madness that will soon transform him into one of the wolf creatures he dreads. With his life seemingly warped forever, Willie must face the prospect of a lifelong descent into horror.
In a time of witchcraft, superstitious folk lore, and fear- some creatures roaming the night, Willie struggles with an uncertain destiny and must seek help from the one man he holds most responsible for the dark fate that awaits him during the next full moon cycle.
During the turbulent fifteenth century, fearsome creatures roam the night and terrorize the coun- tryside. Willie, a young Medinian serf, was bitten during an attack on the farm livestock and now suf- fers from the same full moon affliction as his mentor, Woodrow, and the rest of the Pack. As Willie moves from one moon cycle to the next, he soon realizes that his fate has been changed forever.
While he attempts to adjust to his new life and uncertain future, Lord Victor, the king of Varakov, is determined to provoke a war that threatens to destroy all who reside in Sanctuary. Caught up in the midst of this dire situation, Woodrow must decide whether to honor his sacred pledge to his dark master or stand in opposition and risk his wrath.
As the Hunter’s Moon arrives and the goddess Diana rises in the sky to lay claim to her children, the Pack leader embarks on a dangerous trek to seek out the cavern of the Oracle. Now, only time will tell if the reclusive old sage holds the answers he desperately seeks.
In the mid-fifteenth century, the armies of Medinia, Skoland, and Varakov are marching to war. In an effort to prevent this looming conflict, Woodrow, the Pack leader of a group of lunar-afflicted humans and wolves, has just made a dangerous trek high into the Euralene Mountains to find an ancient monk known as the Oracle. He hopes the reclusive sage will help in curtailing the growing ambitions of the dark Varakovan king, Lord Victor. But as the Oracle reveals new insight into the origins of the Beast, Woodrow fears his journey has only just begun.
Woodrow’s young protégé, Willie, a former Medinian farm serf, is now a reluctant member of the Pack. In an attempt to protect those he loves from the king’s wrath, Willie is forced to stand with the Pack and fight. Meanwhile, the Beast of Varakov pursues his own secretive mission, recruiting an unlikely aide to his cause. Together, the dark masters enlist powers from the past to assist them in carrying out a dire scheme.
In this continuing fantasy adventure, the full moon of November takes to the sky amidst betrayals and newfound alliances as a new evil arises on the coastal plains of Varakov and threatens all mankind.
